VacationRentPayment is an online payment solution specifically tailored to the needs of the vacation rental industry. By delivering the convenience of electronic payments for vacation rentals, VacationRentPayment has become a go-to payment solution for property managers, owners and their guests.

REGISTERING YOUR PROPERTY WITH VACATIONRENTPAYMENT

Get started by contacting VacationRentPayment.com to create your account. Once the account is created, you will receive an email message that will contain you Property | Access code(s), along with a username and password that will be used to connect your accounts:

ACTIVATING VACATIONRENTPAYMENT ON THE INTEGRATIONS PAGE

Once you have your credentials, head to the Integrations Page on Hostfully, and switch the VacationRentPayment toggle to ON, as follows:


Note: the setting will be on the agency-level, meaning all properties will now be integrating with VacationRentPayment.

ENTERING YOUR VACATIONRENTPAYMENT CREDENTIALS

Once the VacationRentPayment pop-up window comes up, please enter the username and password you got from the VacationRentPayment email message, along with the Property Code associated with this property on VacationRentPayment:


PROCESSING TRANSACTIONS

Once VacationRentPayment is enabled, Hostfully will use this payment system to process transactions. When guests are ready to make a reservation and book, they will be sent through Hostfully's payment flow (which will be branded with your business logo).

The guest will stay on Hostfully's pages and will never be sent out to another site, keep the experience seamless and secured.

Note:

  • VacationRentPayment accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX credit and debit cards, and E-checks/ACH (electronic Checks). (Please refer to VRP's source for more details)

  • VacationRentPayment does require the full address alongside the CC information to do the payment. To make sure you have proper settings, especially for Booking.com, please refer to this help article for further instructions.

  • From August 2021, in order to ensure YapStone meets its receipt disclosure requirements, YapStone will now be issuing its own receipt for every payment processed through its services. This means the consumer may now receive two receipts. For example, if you have until now sent a payment receipt to a consumer from your reservation software, Yapstone will also send a receipt to the payer.

Once the guest performed their transaction, they will see a success page like the one below, which will contain the transaction ID associated with the booking:

EMAIL CONFIRMATIONS

When a transaction is processed, you will received several confirmation email messages:

  • Hostfully will send an email message confirming the transaction, along with the transaction ID

  • VacationRentPayment (DoNotReply@vacationrentpayment.com) will send you a daily recap of all the transactions processed that day.
