Templates are tools to help you share common information across multiple Guidebooks. If you need multiple Guidebooks that share several common recommendations, house manual cards, check-in instructions, and more, you'll benefit from putting that information into Templates. Using Templates you can make New Guidebooks in seconds, and you only need to add information or cards that are distinct to the New Guidebook.

Here's how you can do it:

Step 1: Log into your Hostfully account:

Step 2: Once you're on the Dashboard, click on Templates:

Step 3: Name your Template. This is not a guest-facing name, so be descriptive in it, to easily identify the information and cards the Template contains. Example: If you create a Template you intend to use on Guidebooks for listings in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood, it makes sense to name it something similar:

Step 4: Select an image for this Template (Optional) 

Step 5: Assign a location, completing the required (*) fields:

Note: you can enter the city OR the Latitude / Longitude , you don't need to do both.

Step 6: Save your work:

Step 7: Complete the following sections (# 2, 3, and 4) by selecting existing cards to add (checking boxes, or using downwards arrows), or creating new cards (clicking "+" signs), as needed, depending on what you'll need to replicate in your next New Guidebooks..

Step 8: Apply the Template to your existing Guidebooks (optional):

Step 9: Save your work!
