This is an important process in setting up your account for the first time, inviting new team members and controlling information at the agency level. You'll notice there are some fields which you can set at the agency level, and those same fields are available at the property level. The agency level setting will be the default and the property level setting will override the default if different.

You can find the Agency Setting under your agency name's dropdown, and you will land on the Agency's Main Settings tab.

1. Basic details

The left side of the above image is of the agency's basic details. The fields with a red asterisk are required and can't be left empty. These fields also provide inputs for some variables in your automated messaging (Templates & Triggers) and may appear on your free direct booking website Hostfully provides.. You can refer to this article, section "Translating your system templates" for more details.

You'll want to select your default currency. This can be overridden at the property level if needed.

Also enter the best email for your company. This may be the same email as your login or another more widely managed support email.

2. The Team - Permissions & Roles

Adding team members is available for Pro plans and up. Starter clients are only allowed one user. The checkbox at the bottom for Activate Permissions and The Team space is where you manage the roles and access. Here is a detailed article about setting this up.

3. Booking Setting

The next area is for your booking settings, mostly on Hostfully's Direct Booking Site, with an exception of Minimum Renter's Age and % at Reservation and Collect Balance at for Vrbo.

Also, for Hostfully Channel's Security Deposit, there are 2 options as in the above image:

  • Due at Booking Time: included in booking's Total amount and payment link

  • Due at Check-in Time: excluded from booking's Total amount, and payment link. PM needs to collect it manually.
